Dycam ADC (1995)
The Dycam ADC was introduced to the market in 1995. It was a special version of the Dycam Model 4 and intended for farmers, researchers and scientists. ADC stood for Agricultural Digital Camera, it was the result of ongoing product development and research activity with the United States Department of Agriculture ("USDA") and certain Universities. The camera housing was brown and it was designed for multi-band photography in the visible red and near-infrared. The camera and software allowed calibration for the ambient conditions and applied the calibration value to all images made under the calibrated conditions. The spectral sensitivity was 600 nm to 1100 nm, visible red and NIR ( TM bands 3 and 4 extended).
