Fujifilm DX-7 (1997)
The Fujifilm DX-7 was introduced in Japan on 1997-05-13 as the Fujifilm Clip-It DS-20. The immediate highlights were of course the optical viewfinder, the LCD monitor and the auto strobe. It was supposed to be easy to carry, easy to use and easy to shoot. Futhermore manual mode for brightness and white balance, digital gamma correction and even a copy function for 9 images from one smart media card to another! On the playback side there were several playback modes and a digital camera print service for printer output.
