Fujifilm DX-8 (1998)
The Fujifilm DX-8 was not the same as the DS-8 as some might believe, see comparison shot above. It was announced on 1998-05-21. It had a simple, almost square, body and was marketed in Japan as the CLIP-IT50. The camera featured a jog dial for easy access to all functions, a self-timer, lens cover, optical viewfinder, video out terminal, possibility to turn off the LCD and could use both 3.3V and 5V Smart Media cards. The camera could also be connected to the Fujifilm NX-5(D) digital printer.
