HP PhotoSmart C30 (1999)
Hewlett Packard's focus was on printers and not so much on digital cameras, that's why not so many models were marketed in the 1990's. The Photosmart C30 was announced 1999-02-25 and was HP's third digital camera. The camera's breadboard was again delivered by Konica and taken from their concurring model the Q-M100V. The C30 was the successor of the C20 with only minor differences. Foremost the new C30 adds to the C20 with a 2X digital zoom and RGB filter, reducing the chromatic noise level to capture images that are sharper and more pleasing to the eye.
Photosmart was their brand name for the complete digital imaging range from digital cameras to scanners. Basically it consisted of the camera, a scanner and photo printer.
