Tekom TekCam 100 (1999)
The Tekom TekCam 100 is, in my opinion, one of the later models marketed near the end of the century. There is no exact marketing date and no entry from any techfair but the specifications of the camera leave no other conclusion. It had a Li-ion rechargeable battery that could take up to 1,000 shots, a fairly large 2.5" TFT screen, internal and external memory and XGA resolution. At the time of marketing, Windows 98 was also available and supported, so it could not have hit the streets prior to mid 1998. So who's to tell? Until anyone comes forward with more precise data I hereby claim that it was marketed in 1999.
