Agfa ePhoto CL30 (1999)
Definitely built in 1998, the CL30 was demonstrated at CES, Las Vegas on 1999-01-04. The camera, like the CL50, was designed for the SOHO market and those that could not get acquainted with the somewhat eccentric ePhoto 1280/1680 design. Some advantages were the use of both an LCD and optical viewfinder, megapixel resolution, USB interface and PhotoGenie technology. The PhotoGenie technology could enhance the picture and increase the resolution up to 1440x1080 pixels without losing quality. This was something no other camera outside the ePhoto class could.
After having marketed the camera, Agfa recalled the PSU in 2000 because it could overheat the batteries in the camera.
