Epson PhotoPC 750Z (1998)

Epson's first digital camera to sport a zoom lens. Announced 1998-10-15. The camera was basically the same as the PhotoPC 600 with a few enhancements. It featured a new image enhancing software (called Hypict) that boosted the resolution up to 1600x1200 pixels (it took the camera 18 seconds though). Another thing was the possibility to turn off the LCD backlight. The other features included a lens cover, three exposure modes, compact flash storage, serial and printer interface all packed in a stylish body. In Japan the camera was marketed as the Colorio CP-700Z.
