Pretec DC-600 (Version 2) (1997)

The Pretec DC-600 version 2 is a strange digital camera. True, it's an OEM model made by Pretec but on the other hand there are only three known digital cameras of it's kind in existence. The Pretec DC-600 version 2, the peculiar Mirage DSC-6010 and the very rare Claxan DC-600. Also the question remains why would Pretec re-issue the DC-600 in a totally new body but the same technical interior? Also why would Pretec license this camera to two completely unknown companies, well knowing that they wouldn't sell too well?
