As you can read from different entries, Rekam was a canadian company that manufactured electronic products for consumer in the former Eastern Bloc. It is entirely unsure whether Rekam sold some models, none or all of them.

Since this model already had USB connectivity it could not have been marketed before 1999. I strongly believe that most of the vintage Rekam models were not marketed before 1999 even when the other OEM models were already introduced to the market one or two years earlier.

This model here is an OEM Pretec DC-600 model.
