Sanyo VPC-Z400 (1998)

First shown at Comdex Fall '98 and Photokina 1998. The Sanyo VPC-400Z didn't fit into the digicam line just as the VPC-Z380. It was a little bulkier, did not have the digicam logo on the body and was rarely available. Initial production began in 1998 with only 3,000 units per month. The 'Z' stood for 3x optical zoom. Here are the first decent pictures of that rare camera on the internet.
