Fujix DS-H2 prototype (1992)

In 1992 Fuji showed their third prototype to the world at the Photokina 1992. It was a predecessor of the later marketed Fujix DS-200F. According to Fuji it was supposed to be the fist affordable digital camera. Again Fuji had listened to customer experiences with the DS-100 and made the camera flatter and easier to operate. It had the display on top this time, making it also easier to read the camera status when operating it.

It was also the first Fuji digital camera to feature the new SRAM cards. Flash Memory Cards that could hold more pictures and did not need a backup battery.
