LG LDC-F20 (1997)

One of the LG prototypes, shown at World PC Expo 1997 in Japan. LG built and demonstrated a series of digital camera prototypes at several tech fairs. The first one they ever demonstrated was the LG ArtShot LDC-F20 digital camera, a simple point-and-shoot digital camera with a built-in flash, built-in memory and fixed focus lens. Image transfer was done through a serial connection. Three things were interesting enough about this model, first of all it had a pop-up display (180°) that doubled as an LCD viewfinder, secondly there were plans to market this model in three different colors, red, blue and silver and thirdly it was a complete working model with electronic interior, capable of shooting images.
