Pentax Tottemo EG (2001)

Neat and cute and ....? The Pentax Tottemo EG was the first single-use digital camera to hit the Japanese market. Upon buying one you were actually "renting" it because you had to return it to the store in order to get your pictures printed/burned. The user did not have access to the image files and the store would simply keep the camera and refurbish it. The price would include one set of prints (up to 24 pcs.) Sanyo, Altech and Pentax test-marketed the camera in 2001 and it went on sale in 2002.
