Rolleiflex 3003 Still Video Prototype (1994)
According to Rollei this Rolleiflex 3003 Still Video Prototype was built or designed around 1994 and was based on the Rolleiflex 3003 with with RBM Planar 1.8/50mm lens. It was never finished as a product and remained a prototype within the Rollei Museum for over two decades. For the serious collector it appears a bit peculiar why Rollei was tampering with still video technology in a period where every other manufacturer had already switched to digital. At a recent auction it sold for around $8,000.
