Sony Mavica prototypes (1981 - 1983)

Here we have the second most famous prototype of all time. The Sony Mavica. The first electronic still video camera from 1981 marked the historic start for filmless photography. There is some infomation about this camera in the history section. A lot of information can be found on the internet too. This is one of the most exploited cameras of all time so there is nothing else to write about it. Everyone now knows what the Sony Mavica looked like, it's at display in a camera museum in Tokyo but did you know there was a prototype for the prototype and even second and third prototypes? Above are some pictures of an even earlier version of the Sony Mavica prototype and later version as you can see when you look at the Mavica logos.
