Casio QV-770 (1998)

Casio was a real busy bee back in those days. After the Casio QV-700 was announced, Casio camera models seem to evolve over night. The QV-770 was the next in line and announced 1998-03-04. Among it's new features were an improved panorama feature, irTran-P infrared port and the possibility to record short video clips plus all the features of the QV-700! The first QV model to do so. Finally Casio understood the impact of digital cameras in the pre-millennium era. 1998 was also the turning point for digital cameras. Before 1998 they were simply considered input devices or computer peripheral devices but from 1998 on they were regarded as stand alone products.
