Casio QV-780 (1998)

The QV-780, Casio's 14th model, was again produced for the US and europe, not marketed in Japan and announced 1998-09-15. It was somewhat of an entry-level digital camera and compared to the QV-5000/7000SX a huge step backwards. Casio basically took the QV-700 and equipped it with video output and the possibility to record small video clips. The camera stored images as CAM files (a proprietary sort of JPEG).
