Casio QV-7000SX (1998)

Almost six months had passed since the introduction of the QV-5000SX. Casio came up with a new model and announced the QV-7000SX on 1998-09-10. The big brother of the QV-5000SX and fully loaded. It featured 8x zoom now, multiple shooting and metering settings, good ol' swivel lens, for the first time optical double zoom lens, several shooting scenes to choose from, browser compatibility by saving additional HTML information and again irTran-P and external memory slot (but no optical viewfinder). Finally the camera used the bigger 2.5" LCD screen and video clips could be up to 12.8 seconds long.
