Fujifilm MX-2700 (1999)

This camera was announced on 1999-02-04 by the Fujifilm Corporation. It featured a newly developed 2.3MP CCD. Fuji again focused on a high class aluminum body with superb image quality for the consumer. The camera had a new RISC-CPU, improved color filters, intelligent white balance, automatic scene recognition, various shooting and playback modes and a new skin tone mode for true color reproduction. 
 
The start-up time of the camera was reduced to two seconds. The camera was called 'Finepix 2700' in Japan and 'MX-2700' elsewhere.
