Sanyo VPC-G210 (1997)

Of all the Sanyo digital cameras this is by far one of the rarest (seen from a collector's point of view). The VPC-G210 was only sold in the United Kingdom, hence the 'E' next to the model name on the bottom label (VPC-G210E). The camera featured an LCD display, an optical viewfinder, built-in flash, serial port and video out. Apart from that there were also some 'odd' features like the possibility to store the camera ID with every shot, a 16 images in one frame feature and sound annotations. Like most VPC model the lens cover doubled as on/off switch.

According to the now defunct Sanyo UK website it said '..the VPC G210 remains a popular choice among digital photographers..'. Well, I don't know. In the above gallery you can see the first decent pictures on the internet of this camera.
